No sign of any Scarce Blue-tailed Damselfly for third time this year.
Very few other Odonata either.

I've read that SBTD's only like sparsely vegetated water areas. So they are good at colonising random places such as storm drains such as this one and the Didcot one but as the vegetation grows the colony dies out. I guess that has happened here and will happen at Didcot (which is becoming rather overgrown) sometime soon.
