Recorders are encouraged to upload their own sightings to iRecord, but any remaining records will be uploaded at the end of the season.
A brief visit to check the pools. Small numbers of Emperor Dragonfly, Black-tailed Skimmer and blue damselflies seen, but no darters.
The pool that the Red-veined Darters were ovipositing in is drying out rather rapidly.
That's a shame!
Where exactly are the pools? I walked the footpath from minor road which the Earth line quarry in on, but could not see how to get close to the ponds.
Hi Steve, see previous post re location. The specific pool is SP 40266 41543 but you cannot get close and only view from the path
